AWS show reviewed in NY Times

The New Times recently reviewed the Alarm Will Sound show at Le Poisson Rouge. They called Preshish Moments "Why Do Birds" a "barely recognizable deconstruction of the Carpenters' "Close to You"" and said that it and other new transcriptions in the AWS repertoire "benefited from the arrangers’ obsessive attention to detail and the players’ fascination with this music." Octopus Festival Video

My friend Quentin was kind enough to record this video from my recent show at the Octopus Festival in Paris, France. The show was really fun and really diverse. The crowd shouted at me a lot which i was diggin and the stage had really nice lighting which makes the video look cool. The show wasn't dancey so i rocked a choppy hyperactive set.
