The New Times recently reviewed the Alarm Will Sound show at Le Poisson Rouge. They called Preshish Moments "Why Do Birds" a "barely recognizable deconstruction of the Carpenters' "Close to You"" and said that it and other new transcriptions in the AWS repertoire "benefited from the arrangers’ obsessive attention to detail and the players’ fascination with this music." You can read the entire review by clicking on the pic below or by clicking here.

Th' Mole CD Release Extravaganza on Saturday March 14th
I'm playing with Pu22Le at Th' Mole's CD Release Party. I gather that we will be providing music and cues for a cakewalk. The party looks really unique so y'all should come be part of the fun. Check the details below:
My friend Quentin was kind enough to record this video from my recent show at the Octopus Festival in Paris, France. The show was really fun and really diverse. The crowd shouted at me a lot which i was diggin and the stage had really nice lighting which makes the video look cool. The show wasn't dancey so i rocked a choppy hyperactive set. This clip is from the very end of my set:
Basscamp was packed and rowdy last night. There is a sweet video of one of the more chill parts of the set up on youtube. I opened the evening so i just warmed the crowd up for mochi, ludachrist and hookers and blow. Here be ye video:
Basscamp with Ludachrist, Kill the Noise, Hookers and Blow, and more!
I'll be playing a set at Basscamp this thursday at 111 Minna. The headliners are into mashups, so i'll be mashing it up a bit myself. The set won't be entirely masharific, but i definitely have some new mashtastic stuff to rock. The party was totally packed last month, so you might want to hit it early this time. You can check out the Basscamp myspace page for more info by clicking here or by clicking on the shmancy flier below.
Moldover was kind enough to send an mp3 of a room recording. I often have dry recordings of my shows, but i just started using a new patch and i forgot to add recording capability, so I'm grateful to have gotten this from him. You download it here.
I just got bunches of info on a festival i'm going to play on February 26. The program is all in french but the other peeps on the bill seem real cool. You can check get more info about the festival here or go to the home page of the people organizing the festival here.

I'm playing at Love Tech this Saturday along with Colfax, Komega, and Moldover. I gather that it's gonna be a geartacular event. I'll be rocking some breakbeats and talking about splinter and the new version of shredder. You can get all the info here.
